Here's hoping that more people start to give academia the healthy distrust that it deserves.
Here's hoping that more people realize that "disinformation" censorship is exactly the censorship that our founding fathers attempted to prohibit.
I frequently refer to "academic incest" and "intellectual inbreeding". The greatest minds are not likely to be found in the liberal arts colleges at the university. But, mindless conformists abound. I've earned the right to say all this; I have a master's degree in educational administration.
I taught for six years in public schools, and then went into the trades as an architectural woodworking contractor. The truth is exactly as stated in this post: Skilled tradesmen live in the world of physical reality, and reality doesn't even know if you're alive, and doesn't care. Thinking positives thoughts, courage of convictions, grout think, DEI; none of them are worth a crap in the trades. If you can't outwit reality, you are screwed, and that's that. In the meantime, the liberal arts majors spend all day stroking each other and making up fairy tales that they foolishly believe.
If you care to, here's a pervious essay that I wrote, which touches on all this:
Judeo-messianism has been spreading its poisonous message among us for nearly two thousand years. Democratic and communist universalisms are more recent, but they have only come to reinforce the old Jewish narrative . . . They are the same ideals.
The transnational, transracial, transsexual, transcultural ideals that these ideologies preach to us (beyond peoples, races, cultures) and which are the daily sustenance of our schools, in our media, in our popular culture, at our universities, and on our streets, have ended up reducing our biosymbolic identity and ethnic pride to their minimal expression.
Jewish bankers flooded Europe with Muslims and America with third-world garbage . . . Exile as punishment for those who preach sedition should be reinstated within the legal framework of the West . . .
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are death cults originating in the Middle East and totally alien to Europe and its peoples . . . We National Socialists came to liberate Paris, we did not destroy it.
One sometimes wonders why the European left gets along so well with Muslims. Why does an often overtly anti-religious movement take the side of a fierce religiosity that seems to oppose almost everything the left has always claimed to stand for? Part of the explanation lies in the fact that Islam and Marxism have a common ideological root: Judaism.
Don Rumsfeld was right when he said, "Europe has shifted on its axis," it was the wrong side that won World War II, and it is becoming clearer every day. What has NATO done to defend Europe? Absolutely nothing . . . My enemies are not in Moscow, Damascus, Tehran, Riyadh or some ethereal Teutonic boogeyman, my enemies are in Washington, Brussels and Tel Aviv.
Here's Maurice Samuel on the folly of IQ reliance:
"There is no test or guarantee of a man's wisdom or his reliability beyond what he says about life itself. Life is the touchstone: books must be read and understood in order that we may compare our experience in life with the sincere report of the experience of others. But such a one, who has read all the books extant on history and art, is of no consequence unless they are an indirect commentary on what he feels around him.
Hence, if I have drawn chiefly on experience and contemplation and little on books - which others will discovery without my admission - this does not affect my competency, which must be judged by standards infinitely more difficult of application. Life is not so simple that you can test a man's nearness to truth by giving him a college examination. Such examinations are mere games - they have no relation to reality. You may desire some such easy standard by which you can judge whether or not a man is reliable: Does he know much history? Much biology? Much psychology? If not, he is not worth listening to. But it is part of the frivolity of our outlook to reduce life to a set of rules, and thus save ourselves the agony of constant references to first principles. No: standardized knowledge is no guarantee of truth. Put down a simple question - a living question, like this: "Should A. have killed B.?" Ask it of ten fools: five will say "Yes", five will say "No." Ask it of ten intelligent men: five will say "Yes," five will say "No." Ask it of ten scholars: five will say "Yes," five will say "No." The fools will have no reasons for their decisions: the intelligent men will have a few reasons for and as many against; the scholars will have more reasons for and against. But where does the truth lie?
What, then, should be the criterion of a man's reliability?
There is none. You cannot evade your responsibility thus by entrusting your salvation into the hands of a priest-specialist. A simpleton may bring you salvation and a great philosopher may confound you.
And so to life, as I have seen it working in others and felt it within myself, I refer the truth of what I say. And to books I refer only in so far as they are manifestations of life.”
In what the late Saddam Hussein once dubbed “the great Satan,” roughly two-thirds of the United States enlisted military corps is white . . . The fat, bulbous, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin once confirmed in a 93-2 vote of the U.S. Senate, immediately embarked on a whirlwind media tour of duty, telling the pseudo-secular sycophants in the state-controlled tabloid press and state-controlled television talk show circuit about how the U.S. Army is full of bad racist white men.
Senior Defense Department leaders celebrating yet another Pride Month at the Pentagon sounding the alarm about the rising number of state laws they say target the LGBTQ+ community, warned the trend is hurting the feelings of the armed forces . . . “LGBTQ plus and other diverse communities are under attack, just because they are different. Hate for hate’s sake,” said Gil Cisneros, the Pentagon’s undersecretary for personnel and readiness, who also serves as DoD’s chief diversity and inclusion officer.
And now the U.S. Army is doing ads begging for more young white males? What happened?
Even with a full-on declaration of war from Congress, and even if Gavin Newsome could be cheated into the Oval Office by ZOG somehow, while Globohomo diversity brigades go door-to-door looking to impress American children into military service, they will be met with armed, well-trained opposition, the invasion at the Southern border is going full tilt, and the drugs are flowing in like never before . . .
With the borders of Europe and the USA wide open, civil warfare within the USA, Britain, and most of Europe is a certainty if foreign wars are initiated. Nobody is going to fight a war for Biden, he is dumber than Bush . . . Nobody is going to fight a war for that kikesucking Zionist ass-whore Nikki Haley, and I mean nobody.
Get ready for it . . . the fat old devil worshipping fags on Capitol Hill, on Wall Street, in Whitehall, and in Brussels are in no shape to fight a war themselves, and most Americans are armed to the teeth with their own guns . . . NATO hates heterosexual white men . . . they said so themselves . . .
I grew up in Australia, went through the school system there, then returned here to the US just prior to my 19th birthday. My experience was that I was treated as if I had a college education when I did not - I only had a high school education. I joined the US Navy and scored a 138 on the ASVAB which put me in some sort of "you can choose any rate" category. I initially chose ET as I wanted to work on aircraft, but later changed it to UFT (Underwater Fire Control) because the idea of blowing stuff up from miles away hidden below the ocean was appealing to a 19 year old.
Initially, I struggled in high school with mathematics - I was placed in the bottom tier (BASIC) [Yes, they used to have separate classes you would attend depending on your ability - from lowest to highest: Basic, Elementary, Ordinary, Advanced] but what they couldn't figure out was why my science scores were routinely in the top 5 of the (ADVANCED) class.
In the Navy, during BE&E (Basic Electricity & Electronics) _something_ *clicked* with me and math. Suddenly it all made sense. And I do mean suddenly. At one point, I was close to being dropped from the course because I kept failing sections that involved a teeny bit of algebra to figure out parallel circuit impedances and whatnot. But something happened. I wish I could put my finger on it, but literally overnight I started acing the tests. I was watched like a hawk by the staff and one time pulled up to the officer in charge who was convinced I'd found or had been given the "horses" (cheat sheets for the tests). They were as dumbfounded (as I was) when they watched me take test after test and ace the scores.
This continued into 'A' school where myself and two other guys seemed to be in a kind of friendly competition for top score each test.
Since then, I never graduated college - Instead, I did 2 years of trade school then I trained myself programming and became an engineer after working in technology for almost 20 years. The last 23 years I've worked in various engineering capacities - software development, product design and finally R&D.
One day, I was asked to apply for MENSA by some friends who were members. All I could think of was the snooty attitude a number of the high-school kids had towards me and some of the other students who were placed in the BASIC math class. Appears that I'm still not wrong about it, so I joined DENSA instead as a way of dropping a pebble of disapproval into the still waters of their self-adoring ponds.
No single test, no multiple choice diagrams or play-puzzle solving is going to prove _anything_ other than the ability to jump through some *very* specific hoops. In all my career, I found so precious few engineers who could actually solve problems and visualize the solutions thoughtfully without claiming to have raced to the moon and should now be awarded the corner office and a million dollar bonus.
Intelligence, I believe, is the ability to navigate life successfully - success being defined as alive, reasonably independent, capable of adapting to constant change and confident of being able to handle adversity while retaining what is precious to you.
I appreciate you sharing your story. That last sentence sums up the thesis nicely for me. It is a definition of intelligence whereby, I believe, the US and western societies are failing. I hope there are more young folks who will create excellent stories like yours but at the moment, I am skeptical. Cheers.
Your "something clicked" description fits what I've noticed, too. In kollitch, I volunteered to tutor people who were failing basic chemistry. Part of the fun was explaining a given concept in various ways until something would click. Once it clicked, they didn't need me any longer and most of them got "A" grades while none ever came close to failing again.
Once something makes sense there is no looking back as you say. And once we learn to question "authority" there's no trusting them again.
Later, when I took math in college, at first I drove our instructor bonkers by asking so many questions. The rest of the students loved me - they'd come up later and tell me they were so glad I asked b/c the answers the instructor finally gave up made better sense.
Then I started tutoring. I'll bet my old math teachers were spinning in their graves.
One of the subjects that never made sense to me was "history." Back in my day we hardly dared ask any questions especially about such things. Once I started asking questions decades later, I was astonished that most of what we'd been taught was the opposite of the truth and it then began to make a lot of sense. Glad I stuck to the "sciences" although a lot of that has been perverted of late as well.
We are truly a rebellious creature - self willed even to destruction, hostile to reproof and correction; going so far as to imperil others including ourselves to unctuously satisfy an almost insane craving to be justified.
Here's hoping that more people start to give academia the healthy distrust that it deserves.

Perfect. Of course, as a simpleton, I was forced to look Maurice Samuel up:) Thank you for this excellent excerpt!

Brutally comprehensive sentence. Well done.
No arguments here. Look forward to giving your essay a read. Cheers.
